Ilex vomitoria

Similar to Ilex crenata Thunb.

Ilex vomitoria, the native Yaupon Holly, leaves are toothed to the base and do not have blackish glands visible on the underside. Japanese Holly leaves have just a few teeth (6 to 10 per margin) and the undersides are dotted with blackish glands.
