Haloragaceae Family

Similar to Myriophyllum spicatum L.

Several members of the Haloragaceae family are native to the southeastern United States, and a number of exotic milfoils are now widely naturalized. Myriophyllum spicatum is distinguished by its distinctly whorled leaves, bracts, and flowers, and its deep branching.
