The non-native bush honeysuckles are similar to these native species:

Canadian or Fly Honeysuckle - Lonicera canadensis Bartr.
Red Honeysuckle - Lonicera dioica L.
Yellow Honeysuckle - Lonicera flava Sims.
Grape Honeysuckle - Lonicera reticulata Raf.

Canadian Honeysuckle is a shrub grows at high elevations and reaches a maximum height of 2 m (6.5 ft). The remainder of these native honeysuckles are twining vine species and morphologically distinct. All four are state listed as rare plants in Tennessee.
